At the end it stuck and said its not responding. allocate at least 2GB (3 or 4 would be better) of memory to Java in the launcher. Go to the Microsoft site and search for "windows 7 upgrade 64 bit", that might get you some info. programs, as an upgrade on windows 7 to 64 bit has to be a clean install.

So downloaded the technic launcher in order to play some of what technic has to offer and I get stuck on the sign in!
